SUDBURY SATURDAYS

Stacy Halonen, Director of Operations & Experience Marketing

Growing up in a French household in Northern Ontario,  our family was deeply rooted in Christmas rituals and French traditions.  Réveillon, tourtiere & cabane a sucres are a few that come to mind.   Also it was extremely rare to experience a “green” Christmas and it was common to spend much of the holiday season outdoors – ice fishing on the lake, shoveling the outdoor rink to play hockey or going “skidooing” or tobogganing.  The cold didn’t seem to be a bother, at least not as a kid!   Here’s some of the highlights of a “Sudbury Saturday Night”,  Christmas edition.
